MW Recruitment Limited is recruiting an IT Support Technician to ensure the stable operation of in-house computer equipment and telephony systems. The role covers installing, configuring, maintaining and optimising PC, laptop, phone and printer hardware and software within a banking environment.

Key duties include handling user tickets, configuring devices, managing printers, administering Windows and iOS, and liaising with vendors.

Qualifikationen

• Experience supporting Windows 10 PCs and related software.
• Proficient in MS Office 365 suite including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Teams.
• Active Directory administration including user accounts, groups, OU, and GPO basics.
• Understanding of TCP/IP, DHCP, DNS and basic network concepts.
• Familiarity with financial market data tools such as Bloomberg, Fidessa, Refinitiv.

• Create and maintain desktop documentation.

A banking institution are recruiting for an IT Support Technician is to ensure the stable operation of the in-house computer equipment. This includes planning, installing, configuring, maintaining, supporting and optimising computer, telephony and printer hardware and software.

Main Duties

• Answering calls from users and creating tickets in the helpdesk ticket system
• Install, configure, maintain, and troubleshoot PC, laptops, telephones and mobile devices
• Install and configure network and local printers
• Management and administration of MS Windows and Apple IOS operating systems and any associated software
• Interact with vendors to maintain and support their products and services
• Ensure connectivity of all workstations to the required internal and external IT services
• Participate in physical installations, moves and changes of IT equipment as required
• Monitor computer performance and provide performance statistics and reports
• Recommend, schedule, and perform improvements, upgrades, and repairs
• Participate in the periodic upgrade and replacement of desktops, laptops, telephones, mobile phones, printers and other related equipment
• Maintain and follow internal processes
• Create and maintain desktop related documentation

Experience Required

• Strong knowledge and experience of supporting Windows 10 PC operating systems
• Knowledge of the MS Office 2016 & Microsoft 365 suite of programs – Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Teams, OneDrive etc.
• Experience of Active Directory and MS Entra user administration. Including account creation, security groups, distribution groups, OU structures, GPO inheritance and use of MIM
• An understanding of basic network protocols and concepts including TCP/IP, DHCP and DNS
• Experience with supporting financial market data applications including Bloomberg, Fidessa and Refinitiv products
