  • UK Driving licence is required.

Job description

We are looking for a IT Support Engineer to join our Culligan UKI IT team. In this position, you'll play a crucial role in delivering first class IT support as you troubleshoot hardware and software applications across the UK and Ireland. Your contributions will be essential in providing outstanding first and second line support and collaborating on exciting IT projects designed to enhance our current business systems.

In this dynamic and hands-on position, you'll engage in all facets of business support and development related to IT. You'll have the opportunity to work independently as well as collaborating with team members based in different business units across Culligan UKI, offering assistance to internal customers both on-site and in the field to guarantee exceptional service for all users.

To thrive in this role, you should be a proactive self-starter, comfortable working alone or as part of a team. You’ll need excellent time management skills, be an outstanding communicator, a tech enthusiast with a detail-oriented mindset, and possess strong troubleshooting capabilities.

Your passion for delivering outstanding service to a diverse range of customers will be invaluable, ideally along with experience in complex and fast-paced environments.

  • Respond to incidents/requests raised within the ServiceNow platform promptly and with a customer-focused approach, escalating issues to internal IT team members and third-party vendors as appropriate
  • Support all end user business applications and systems including: Windows, Android and iOS device administration and lifecycle management, Microsoft 365 application support, Azure and Intune management, Enterprise financial systems (IFS, Pronto, Sage and others)
  • Liaise with 3rd party providers where appropriate for the support and on-going maintenance of the user based hardware estate including purchasing of end user equipment as necessary.
  • Carry out Joiner, Mover & Leaver processes as required – creating user accounts, building/providing hardware, performing face to face and remote IT Inductions.
  • Administration of phone systems.
  • Review and maintain the IT asset register for hardware within the company.
  • Assist with maintenance of the Knowledge Base system, documenting solutions and processes.

  • Microsoft Azure and Intune working experience
  • Network Administration understanding and experience

  • UK Driving licence - occasional travel required to regional office locations (London, Woking and Wolverhampton)
  • May be required to be available 'on call' out of normal business hours.
