Job summary

Amazon UK Services Ltd. is seeking an on-premise IT support specialist to assist internal employees with hardware and software needs. You will manage IT assets, prepare devices for new hires, and work with an internal ticketing system to resolve issues.

Qualifications

This role is a technical on-premise position supporting internal employees. This position requires hands‑on experience in supporting PC hardware, software and internal tooling for employees. It requires working with internal ticketing tool to communicate with customers. Prepare hardware for new hires joining the company and also manage IT asset inventory.

Basic Qualifications

• - High school or equivalent diploma
• - Experience troubleshooting in a multi-user high availability environment
• - Experience in PC repair, troubleshooting, deployment and liquidation
• - Experience in IT client, server, and network service delivery
• - Experience with networking technology (TCP/IP, subnetting, DNS and DHCP)
• - Experience supporting Windows, Mac and/or Linux operating systems in a corporate setting
• - Experience working with windows server technologies

Preferred Qualifications

• - Experience in networking
• - Experience supporting video conference and teleconference equipment
