Job summary

Amazon UK Services Ltd. seeks an IT Support Engineer to keep our IT infrastructure at peak performance across operations sites in the United Kingdom. You’ll troubleshoot issues, support end-user devices, and contribute to network projects while mentoring junior technicians.

You’ll work with both remote and on-site colleagues, delivering resilient systems for fast-moving operations and helping design infrastructure for new buildings as they launch.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Experience troubleshooting in a multi-user high availability environment.
• Experience in PC repair, troubleshooting, deployment and liquidation.
• Experience with networking technology (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP).
• Experience supporting Windows, Mac and/or Linux in a corporate setting.
• Experience with Windows Server technologies.
• Fluent English (C1 or above).
• Full UK Driving Licence.
• Experience IT client, server, and network service delivery.

Responsibilities

• Support end-user equipment and building IT infrastructure.
• Assist with network projects, like IT setup of new Amazon buildings.
• Suggest new processes to improve IT usage in operational sites.
• Train and mentor IT Technicians.
