IT Support Specialist

London, On-site

This role is at the center of our Holding team in London. We’ve got a mix of skills here, from Finance and Hospitality to Recruitment, People & Culture, IT Support and Marketing. Job Purpose

In this role, you will be responsible for UK IT Support Operations in London and Manchester, focusing on the London Office. You and your colleagues will be the eyes and ears on the ground for IT Support.

You will report to the Global Head of IT Support and have a dotted line to the UK Operations Director. You will work closely with both on sign off of local UK projects and activities, delivering Global initiatives and streamlining processes.

You will partner with the UK Office Experience Lead and their team, ensuring attendance of the UK IT Support team in the office 4 days per week and providing support for important office meetings and activities.

This role requires you to stay informed about the London & Manchester Offices and maintain efficiency and alignment in UK processes.

Key Responsibilities

Global Support & Implementation of Initiatives

  • Participate actively in the Global support process;
  • Collaborate with the global team to translate global efforts into local practices;
  • Oversee the development and enhancement of systems, integrating new systems with existing ones, with input from the Global IT team;
  • Coordinate project activities, allocate resources, and ensure projects are completed within scope, schedule, and budget;
  • Manage UK delegated tickets from the global team end-to-end.

Local UK Team Support

  • Support UK Office operations in partnership with the UK Office Experience Lead, focusing on London:
  • Set standards for office support;
  • Attend the office 4 days per week;
  • Support key client meetings;
  • Ensure smooth onboarding of new joiners;
  • Manage UK Hardware and Employee Lifecycle processes, integrating them into a unified UK process;
  • Manage local vendor relationships as needed;
  • Oversee local projects from start to finish;
  • Provide IT support to UK users;
  • Generate reports on IT initiatives, project progress, and performance metrics;
  • Analyze software applications and IT processes for consolidation and standardization.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in IT, Computer Science, or related field;
  • 2-3 years of experience in IT support roles;
  • Strong knowledge of IT hardware, software, networking, and infrastructure, with project management skills;
  • Advanced knowledge of Windows & macOS;
  • Experience with SaaS tools like Google Workspace, O365, Slack, Atlassian is a plus;
  • Experience with OKTA, JAMF, & Intune is a plus;
  • Self-motivated with excellent communication and teamwork skills;
  • Ability to analyze and optimize IT processes;
  • Experience with multi-site operations is a plus;
  • Knowledge of licensing, security, and organizational concepts.
