Job summary

Radar Healthcare is seeking an IT Support Engineer to deliver responsive, hands-on technical support across our systems, devices and applications. You will assist colleagues in a hybrid/office environment from our Leeds office, ensuring secure, efficient IT operations and a positive user experience.

Key responsibilities include incident resolution, device provisioning, and onboarding/offboarding support, with a focus on security, documentation, and end-user guidance.

Qualifications

  • Proven experience in IT support, Service Desk or Helpdesk roles.
  • Strong fundamentals in networking and device provisioning.
  • Experience with Microsoft 365 admin centers and security tools.

Responsibilities

  • Provide first and second-line IT support for colleagues across the organisation, handling incidents and service requests.
  • Configure and manage company devices using Intune and Autopilot; maintain asset records.
  • Support onboarding/offboarding with account provisioning and access control in line with security policies.
  • Maintain documentation and contribute to knowledge bases and repeatable support processes.

The Opportunity
Radar Healthcare's new IT Support Engineer

The IT Support Engineer will provide responsive, hands‑on technical support across Radar Healthcare, helping colleagues work effectively and securely across our systems, devices and applications.

Service Desk and User Support
  • Provide first and second-line technical support to colleagues across the organisation, responding to incidents and service requests in a timely, professional and customer-focused way.
  • Diagnose and resolve hardware, software, network, access and application issues, escalating complex matters appropriately and keeping users informed throughout.
  • Support onboarding, role changes and offboarding by setting up accounts, permissions, devices and access in line with internal processes and security requirements.
  • Maintain accurate records of tickets, resolutions and known issues, contributing to the development of knowledge base articles, user guides and repeatable support processes.
  • Support remote, hybrid and office-based colleagues with day‑to‑day IT needs, including collaboration tools, meeting room technology, peripherals and connectivity.
Systems, Devices and Asset Management
  • Support the configuration, provisioning, maintenance and lifecycle management of company devices, including laptops, mobile devices and associated equipment.
  • Assist with device deployment and management using tools such as Microsoft Intune and Autopilot, ensuring devices are secure, compliant and ready for use.
  • Maintain accurate IT asset records, including device ownership, stock levels, repairs, replacements, warranties and software licensing information.
  • Support the administration of core business systems and cloud services, including Microsoft 365, user accounts, groups, permissions and access controls.
  • Contribute to infrastructure and service improvement projects, including the development of the internal service desk, asset management processes and IT documentation.
Security and Quality Responsibilities
  • Follow all relevant information security, data protection and compliance requirements, including internal policies and procedures relating to access control, device security and acceptable use.
  • Support the implementation and maintenance of cybersecurity controls, including patching, endpoint protection, multi‑factor authentication, conditional access and device compliance.
  • Help identify, document and elevate risks, recurring issues and process gaps that could affect the security, reliability or quality of IT services.
  • Contribute to audits, compliance evidence gathering and continuous improvement activity, including Cyber Essentials, ISO 27001 or other relevant frameworks where required.
  • Promote good IT practice across the organisation by supporting users with clear guidance, appropriate training and practical advice.
Your journey so far
  • Proven experience in IT support role, Service Desk, Helpdesk
  • Networking fundamentals
  • Experience with device provisioning tools (e.g. Autopilot)
  • Understanding Access controls policies and cybersecurity best practices
  • Microsoft 365 admin centres (Intune, Defender, Entra, Exchange, SharePoint, Teams)
  • Excellent troubleshooting and communication skills
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities
  • MS-900 or equivalent qualifications for Microsoft 365 Cloud Apps
Even better if you
  • Experience with cloud platforms (Azure, AWS)
  • Familiarity with service desk platforms (e.g. Freshworks, Jira, Dynamics, ServiceNow)
  • Experience with patch management tools and processes
  • Knowledge of compliance frameworks (e.g. GDPR, Cyber Essentials, ISO 27001)
  • Microsoft certifications (MD-102, MS102, AZ-104)
  • ITIL Foundation certification or working knowledge of ITIL principles
