Are you a hands-on IT professional with a passion for providing outstanding support and maintaining robust IT systems? We’re looking for a proactive and experienced IT Support Engineer to join our team and play a key role in ensuring the continuous and efficient operation of our IT and communications systems.

Your Tasks

1. Act as the first point of contact for IT support, addressing user queries related to system access, passwords, hardware/software, and general help desk issues via the ITSM tool.
2. Build systems using standard Modern Workplace images and toolsets.
3. Purchase, configure, and install hardware and IT consumables in a timely manner.
4. Manage system and software licensing as well as telecommunication setup and maintenance.
5. Ensure secure and correct setup of user accounts, directories, access rights, and network printing.
6. Perform routine server maintenance and backups in line with company protocols.
7. Maintain security compliance across company devices.
8. Create and maintain IT documentation and standard operating procedures.
9. Collaborate across departments to resolve technical issues and escalate bugs with third-party vendors.
10. Deliver user training and support across the business.
11. Drive process improvements and contribute to IT best practices.

Your Profile

1. Proven experience in a similar IT support or systems administration role.
2. Strong knowledge of Windows Server environments, including Active Directory (AD) and Group Policy (GPO).
3. Experience with Modern Workplace environments and tools.
4. Proficient in device management using Microsoft Intune and Defender for Endpoint/MDE.
5. Excellent understanding of networking principles (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP) and remote access services (VPNs, RDP).
6. Solid knowledge of hardware: servers, PCs, printers.
7. Working knowledge of Microsoft environments, including previous versions.
8. Familiarity with SQL databases, Veeam backup systems, and IP-based phone systems.
9. Strong troubleshooting skills and ability to communicate effectively both verbally and in writing.
