Job summary

Right Now Recruitment is seeking an Internal IT Support Analyst to join the IT team on a contract-to-perm basis. The role involves 2nd line IT support across multiple sites, adhering to ITIL standards and handling software incidents with remote desktop support.

The role is office-based with hybrid working after training, offers 40 hours per week, and 25 days holiday. Salary is described as an hourly equivalent of £28,000–£30,000 per year.

Qualifications

• Experience in First/Second Line IT support or equivalent.
• Knowledge of ITIL standards and ticketing processes.
• Strong remote desktop support and problem-solving skills.
• Experience with Active Directory and Windows Server environments.
• Familiarity with networking basics and MS Office tools.

Responsibilities

• Provide internal IT support across multiple sites and departments.
• Adhere to ITIL standards and KPIs for incident resolution.
• Resolve software incidents and perform remote desktop support.
• Open, update and close support tickets efficiently.
• Perform software & network analysis, diagnosis, and debugging.
• Administer Active Directory and NTFS permissions.
• Support field service engineers via telephone and software support.

Job Type: Contract to Perm

Location: Surbiton

Salary: Hourly equivalent of 28,000 - 30,000 per annum.

Role Type: Office Based - Hybrid working once fully trained

Job Role

• Internal IT Support across multiple sites and departments
• Adhering to the ITIL standards
• Resolving software incidents in line with KPIs
• Provide remote desktop support
• Ensure support request 'tickets' are opened, updated and closed as efficiently as possible
• Software & network analysis, diagnosis, troubleshooting & debugging

Desirable
