Job summary

King’s College London (KCL) is seeking a proactive IT Supplier Management Analyst to support the IT Supplier Manager in administering supplier and contract management for IT services. The role handles day-to-day ITSM queue requests, purchase orders, and timely invoice payments, liaising with senior stakeholders across the university.

• Good attention to detail with organisational and process design skills.
• Good communication skills and customer focus.
• Diligent and thorough approach to problem solving.
• Willingness to complete ITIL Foundation.
• Proficient in the use of Microsoft Office products.

Responsibilities

• Support the governance and strategic approach of Supplier Management within King’s.
• Ensure Supplier Management policies and processes are adhered to, raising breaches to the Head of Supplier Management.
• Assist ITSM with planning and review of supplier spend, performance and contracts.
• Administrating and raising Purchase Orders for IT related spend.
• Collaborate with stakeholders and suppliers to ensure high quality IT services and value for money.
• Manage supplier performance and address under-performance and compliance issues.
• Follow King’s Procurement and IT policies across central procurement and solution owners.
• Maintain contracts on systems for accurate information.
• Produce high quality documentation and reports.
• Support and maintain the Supplier and Contracts Database (SCD).
• Conduct supplier and contract categorisation and risk assessment.
• Assist with continual service improvement and audit support.
