Job summary

MJ Quinn is seeking a mid‑level Business Analyst to drive improvements through clear requirements, process mapping and stakeholder collaboration. You will work with sponsors and IT teams within Agile and ITIL contexts to define changes that boost efficiency and service quality.

The role focuses on elicitation, documentation, and ensuring solutions align with strategic goals. Based in Knowsley, with relocation to the Liverpool area, you'll participate in workshops, create BRDs and user stories,

Qualifications

• Ability to analyse complex business processes and data to identify issues, trends and opportunities.
• Experience creating BRDs, functional specs, user stories and use cases in Agile environments.
• Strong communication skills for liaising with sponsors, IT teams and end users.

Responsibilities

• Elicit and analyse business and system requirements with sponsors and users.
• Map current processes and propose improvements or automation opportunities.
• Translate needs into actionable requirements for technical teams (BRDs, specs, user stories).
• Support Agile processes: backlog refinement, sprint planning, and acceptance criteria.
• Collaborate with QA and end-users to validate solutions meet requirements.
• Facilitate stakeholder workshops and ensure feedback is captured and addressed.
