Job summary

MJ Quinn Integrated Services Limited is seeking a Business Analyst to deliver new or improved business processes and software solutions. You will work with sponsors and IT teams to define requirements and align initiatives with strategic goals, using Agile and ITIL frameworks to ensure effective implementation.

The role focuses on analysing current processes, identifying improvement opportunities, and translating needs into actionable specifications for development and testing teams.

Qualifications

• Experience in requirements elicitation and analysis with stakeholders.
• Ability to map and improve business processes and IT systems.
• Translate business needs into clear requirements for IT teams.
• Experience working in Agile delivery and ITIL practices.
• Strong communication with sponsors, users and cross-functional teams.
• Ability to define acceptance criteria and support UAT.

Responsibilities

• Requirements Elicitation & Analysis: gather and document business and system requirements.
• Process Mapping & Improvement: analyse workflows and propose optimisations aligned with ITIL.
• Solution Definition & Documentation: write BRDs, functional specs, user stories and use cases.
• Agile Collaboration: refine product backlog and participate in sprint planning and reviews.
• Testing & Validation: assist in UAT and ensure traceability from requirements to tests.
• Stakeholder Communication: provide regular updates and align priorities among sponsors and teams.
