Job summary

Tandridge District Council is seeking an IT Service Desk Administrator to join its IT Team. This role is ideal for someone starting or developing their career in IT support and customer service in a council environment.

You will be the first point of contact for colleagues, handling technical requests across desktop support, Microsoft 365, hardware management and user administration, while contributing to ITSM processes in a supportive team.

Qualifications

• Experience in delivering great customer service across face-to-face, phone and online channels.
• Proven ability to explain technical issues to non-technical audiences.
• Ability to manage multiple requests in a busy environment.
• Comfortable following defined processes and paying attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Be the first point of contact for colleagues needing technical assistance.
• Help resolve day-to-day IT issues and maintain high levels of customer service.
• Gain experience across desktop support, Microsoft 365, hardware management, user administration and ITSM.
• Review tickets, liaise with staff to ensure issues are resolved quickly.
