Job summary

Tandridge District Council is seeking an IT Service Desk Administrator on a fixed-term basis. You will be the front line for colleagues needing technical help and will gain exposure to Microsoft 365, hardware management and IT service management processes.

You will work within a small IT team that supports council services, software and infrastructure, handling tickets and ensuring timely resolutions while delivering excellent customer service.

Qualifications

• Experience delivering great customer service in person, over the phone or online.
• Ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical colleagues clearly.
• Comfortable managing multiple requests in a busy environment.

Responsibilities

• Be the first point of contact for colleagues needing technical help.
• Assist with desktop support, user administration and hardware handling.
• Liaise with IT staff to resolve tickets and maintain service desk processes.
