Job summary

Next Best Move is assisting a leading charity in London to recruit an enthusiastic IT Officer to join their established IT team. The role focuses on Microsoft 365 administration, SharePoint support, and IT governance within a collaborative environment.

You will maintain IT systems, ensure data security compliance, train staff, and work in a hybrid setup with a generous benefits package.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in Microsoft 365 administration and SharePoint site management.
• Strong understanding of information security and data governance.
• Confident communicator who can engage non-technical staff.
• Experience managing external IT suppliers and ensuring service delivery.
• Excellent organisational skills with a proactive and solution-focused approach.

Responsibilities

• Provide day-to-day IT support across the organisation, ensuring smooth operation of systems and software.
• Manage and maintain Microsoft 365, SharePoint, and related cloud-based systems.
• Act as the main contact for external IT suppliers and service providers.
• Deliver IT training sessions and create clear user guides and documentation.
• Oversee IT asset management, including maintaining an accurate IT asset register.
• Support onboarding and offboarding processes, ensuring staff have the right access and tools.
• Contribute to IT policy development and ensure data security compliance across all systems.
• Participate in technology working groups to help shape IT strategy and delivery.
