Express Recruitment are currently supporting a well-established tech firm based in Leicestershire, who due to growth, are recruiting for an IT Sales Consultant to join their busy team.

The successful candidate will take responsibility for generating business with both new and existing clients, effectively building relationships and providing consultative support to ensure high retention and net revenue growth. Our client is looking for a candidate with high energy and a passion for sales!

A proven background in sales/new business is required, alongside experience within IT or telecommunications, or a keen desire to move into the tech sector.

In return, you can expect to receive a starting salary of up to c£30,000 (negotiable) with an excellent uncapped commission structure, hybrid working options plus other employee perks.

Responsibilities
  • Manage and build relationships with a portfolio of clients, developing a deep understanding of client’s business models in order to tailor solutions
  • Develop own new sales pipeline through cold calling and networking
  • Follow up inbound and outbound leads and prospects
  • Provide clients and prospects with detailed proposals, product demonstrations, and consultations
  • Handle own internal administration, including updating the CRM, providing monthly reports and sales pipeline forecasting
Skills & Experience
  • Experience in a business development with a proven track record
  • Experience working in an IT or tech firm advantageous
  • Target orientated with the ability to tailor technical solutions for specific client requirements
  • Excellent communication skills with a professional telephone manner, able to develop positive rapport and relations with stakeholders
  • Experienced in a fast paced target driven environment
