Description

It’s an exciting time to join the team here at AXA, with significant investment planned in all UK&I businesses to transform, deliver new digital services to our customers and streamline our business processes. As part of this, we’ve an exciting opportunity for an IT Risk Analyst to join us on a 12 month fixed term contract.

Reporting into the Head of IT Risk, you’ll manage the overall IT risk programme including identification, evaluation and mitigation of any operations risks, internal financial control deficiencies and any arising audit actions or escalations within AXA UK IT.

At AXA we work smart, empowering our people to balance their time between home and the office in a way that works best for them, their team and our customers. You'll work at least 40% of your week away from home, moving to the majority of your working week away from home by September 2025. Away from home means either attendance at one of our office locations, visiting clients or attending industry events.

What you’ll be doing:

  • Managing the identification of existing and emerging IT operational risks, facilitating input from senior managers across IT
  • Creating risk reporting for key governance committees
  • Facilitating identification and reporting of transversal loss events and escalations through the loss reporting process
  • Responsibility for ensuring risk mitigation plans bring any risks into tolerance
  • Working with senior technology managers to provide a view of the risk profile for their function
  • Coordinating IT input into Information Risk Management assessments
  • KRI development and reporting
  • Supporting delivery of internal audit and external audit activities

  • Operational risk management experience
  • Experience influencing senior management and stakeholders
  • Ability to process, collate and present data
  • Knowledge of risk frameworks
  • Qualified in IT Risk Management is desirable
