Job summary

Citigroup in Belfast is seeking a Senior Program Manager to lead and coordinate large-scale initiatives across global teams. You will partner with CIO Central governance and technology leads to deliver key programs on time and within budget.

Excellent negotiation, stakeholder management, and planning skills are essential to align objectives and drive value across functions and regions. The role offers a hybrid work model with up to 2 days at home per week plus mentorship and ongoing learning.

Qualifications

• Senior program management experience supporting the delivery of high value projects.
• Thorough understanding of project/program management techniques and expectations
• Extensive experience managing broad scale programs across various disciplines.
• Ability to organize and prioritize critical issues and information to facilitate efficient decision making, providing oversight and guidance to team projects of highest priority and importance.
• Ability to develop project plans, manage individual deadlines and goals.
• Knowledge of project metrics, including gathering, reporting, trend analysis, creation, and metrics.
• Ability to identify issues and problems, generate solutions and choose appropriate alternatives using basic root cause analysis.

• Identifies and where required amends the approach to the context and constraints of each project
• Articulates problems, brings the right people together to solve problems and knows when the problem has been properly addressed and closed

The team:

Project Eirene is helping transform how we manage software currency and vulnerabilities across our technology estate. By increasing automation and adopting modern engineering practices, we're making releases faster and safer while creating a more sustainable approach to keeping software current.

This role will develop an exceptional understanding of both Project Eirene and any other deliverables or initiatives across various Technology organizations. This person will play a key role in supporting the CIO Central program governance team and tech delivery teams, collaborating with Program and Technology Leads, Application Owners and Remediation Leads.

Role Overview:

Comprehensive understanding of concepts and procedures within both the direct function and the wider Tech / Business areas will be essential. • Strong written/verbal communication skills.
