IT Project & Programme Manager

Our leading client in Milton Keynes is seeking an experienced IT Project & Programme Manager.

You should be a proven IT PM with a passion for delivering high-impact technology initiatives.

We are looking for a dynamic professional to lead IT and business-driven projects, ensuring they are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.

Role:

• Lead and manage IT-led and business-led projects and programmes, ensuring strategic alignment with business objectives.
• Oversee project scope, timelines, budgets, and quality standards, mitigating risks and managing resources effectively.
• Implement best practices, governance structures, and standard methodologies to drive consistency and excellence in project execution.
• Collaborate with stakeholders at all levels, ensuring clear communication, expectation management, and successful project outcomes.
• Balance strategic priorities with operational delivery to maximise technology investments and drive continuous improvement.

You

• Proven experience in IT project and programme management, delivering complex initiatives in a structured environment.
• Strong leadership, stakeholder management, and risk mitigation skills.
• Expertise in project governance, best practices, and frameworks such as PRINCE2, PMP, or Agile methodologies.
• Ability to drive innovation, process improvements, and business transformation through technology.

• Minimum 4 years of experience in IT project and programme management at a senior level, preferably within a medium-sized and fast-paced business environment.
• Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously, ensuring successful delivery in line with business objectives.
• Experience working with cross-functional teams, ensuring effective collaboration between IT and business stakeholders.
• Proven experience in delivering complex IT projects and programmes, ideally within medium-sized organisations.
• Expertise in budgeting, resource planning, and risk management, with a track record of delivering projects on time.

This is a hybrid role, but you must be within a 1-hour commute of Milton Keynes and be eligible to work in the UK without sponsorship. Excellent communication skills are essential.
