We are looking for an IT Project Manager for a 12 Month contract based in Bristol (2-3 Days per Week on site) on behalf of our globally respected client who develops cutting-edge technologies that deliver clean, safe, and competitive solutions to meet the planet's vital power needs.

Candidates must be SC Cleared or be eligible to receive SC Clearance.

The Role & Responsibilities

• Ownership of the full project lifecycle, from requirements gathering and planning through to delivery and implementation.
• Establishing and maintaining strong relationships with internal customer counterparts and cross-functional teams.
• Ensuring robust project governance, including risk management, financial oversight, and status reporting.
• Managing and maintaining detailed project documentation including project plans, reports, RAID logs, and design artefacts.
• Supporting the development and delivery of secure, compliant solutions with consideration for cyber controls and secure-by-design principles.
• Collaborating with other Programme Managers to ensure alignment with broader programme objectives.
• Attending and leading project-related meetings, capturing actions and tracking progress against milestones.
• Contributing to testing and service readiness planning for new capability deployment.

What We Require From The Candidate

• Active SC Clearance is highly desirable.
• Proven experience in IT project management, ideally in defence, government, or similarly secure environments.
• Strong knowledge of project governance frameworks and documentation standards.
• Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.
• Familiarity with cyber controls, secure-by-design principles, or similar security-focused delivery approaches.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision while coordinating multiple teams and deliverables.
