Job summary

Belmont Recruitment in Norwich is seeking an experienced Project Manager to join our Digital Services team, leading delivery of large-scale and complex projects across a busy Change and Capital Programme.

You will develop proposals, maintain project initiation documents, monitor progress with RAID logs, manage budgets, and coordinate cross-functional teams and stakeholders to ensure on-time delivery.

Qualifications

• Experience applying recognised project management methodologies.
• Experience delivering significant change projects and implementing new systems, services or processes.
• Strong stakeholder management, negotiation and influencing skills.
• Excellent analytical, organisational and problem-solving abilities.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills, including experience presenting to senior stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Lead the delivery of large-scale and complex projects from initiation through to completion.
• Develop project proposals, agreeing clear objectives, scope and deliverables.
• Prepare and maintain Project Initiation Documents and comprehensive project plans.
• Monitor project progress against key milestones and provide regular reporting, including RAG status updates.
• Identify, manage and monitor project risks, issues, decisions and actions, maintaining accurate RAID logs.
• Coordinate project teams, stakeholders and work packages to ensure delivery remains on schedule.
• Lead project boards, working groups and workshops, effectively engaging and influencing stakeholders.
• Analyse complex information and identify solutions to unblock issues and manage project risks.
• Lead service improvement, redesign and change initiatives, supporting the implementation of new ways of working.
• Manage project resources and delegated budgets, identifying and addressing potential underspends or overspends.
