Overview

IT Project Manager, 12 - 18 month contract, hybrid role based in City of London.

This role leads the Windows 11 deployment across the global physical and virtual estate, upgrading laptops, desktops and VDI operating systems to Windows 11 and updating hardware. You will have a strong background in project management and desktop upgrade deployments, with proven and demonstrable experience implementing and rolling out global desktop refresh projects to circa 2000 users.

Responsibilities
  • Responsible for the successful end-to-end management of the Windows 11 upgrade across the global organisation.
  • Create a high-quality delivery solution that meets business requirements and ensures a smooth change management experience for the business and service teams.
  • Work with key stakeholders to define project scope, priorities, timelines, milestones, deadlines, plans, RAID, resource plans and deliverable schedules.
  • Collaborate with different teams across the organisation to ensure alignment and on-time delivery to objectives.
  • Escalate issues as appropriate and assist in creating proposals for resolution.
  • Facilitate discussions and decisions among project stakeholders.
  • Coordinate work within the team and provide clear progress updates with transparency.
  • Monitor and report on project status.
  • Assist in managing the project budget and expenditures.
  • Ensure the project adheres to the business standards for project methodology, governance, reporting and risk management.
Qualifications
  • Project Management experience of at least 5 years.
  • Solid experience and proven track record of delivering end-to-end desktop upgrades within medium to large organisations (essential).
  • Comfortable working in Waterfall, Agile & Hybrid styles.
  • Knowledge and experience of using ServiceNow SPM tooling.
