Operating in highly regulated and demanding industrial sectors, they have successfully executed pivotal projects across energy, nuclear, renewables, water, and manufacturing domains. They are seeking an IT Project Engineer to join their technical team, supporting over 450 staff members.

Key Responsibilities of the IT Project Engineer:

• Support the delivery of IT infrastructure and transformation projects.
• Collaborate with the wider IT team to implement technical solutions.
• Work to agreed timescales, prioritizing tasks effectively.
• Assist in improving IT systems, processes, and standards.
• Provide technical support across engineering and support teams.
• Contribute to a culture of innovation and continuous improvement.

Key Requirements of the IT Project Engineer:

• Proficient with Microsoft technologies including Windows Server, SharePoint, Office 365, and Windows 11.
• Experience with VMware and virtualization platforms.
• Hands-on experience with Dell hardware and Apple devices.
• Knowledge of security tools including Sophos, FortiGate firewalls, and VPNs.
• Expertise with Veeam Backup & Recovery.
• Experience with HP network switches.
• ITIL Foundation certification or knowledge.
• Strong stakeholder management skills.
