Job Description:

We are currently seeking a proactive and detail-oriented IT Procurement Officer to support a broad range of IT procurement and license management activities within an international retail organization.

This is an initial 3-6 month contract, likely inside IR35. The role is hybrid, mainly remote with weekly office meetings, based near Kent/Sussex.

The role involves hands-on IT procurement support, administration, vendor coordination, contract management, and process improvement. The Procurement Officer should operate at both tactical and strategic levels to streamline and support global IT procurement initiatives.

Responsibilities:

• License management
• Manage ServiceNow platform processes for contracts and vendors
• Support daily procurement tasks such as raising purchase orders, tracking approvals, and maintaining contract records
• Coordinate with Managed Service Providers and large IT vendors/outsourcers
• Participate in contract reviews and basic negotiations with senior team members
• Manage purchase orders and contracts
• Assist with invoicing processes with finance
• Contribute to budget forecast meetings
• Build relationships with key IT stakeholders and align purchasing strategies

Skills & Experience Required:

• At least 3 years of experience supporting IT procurement, with a solid understanding of IT procurement processes and vendors
• Experience using ServiceNow, preferably with vendor/contract management modules
• Experience with procurement systems, purchase order management, and vendor coordination
• Confidence in working with IT contracts and supporting contract management processes
• Ability to perform operational tasks and contribute to strategic procurement initiatives
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
• Excellent administrative skills with attention to detail and accuracy
• Experience working within a global organization (desirable)
