Join our Client's Aeroderivative Gas Turbine Procurement team, focused on productivity, quality, and digital innovation to advance clean energy solutions. As a Procurement professional, you will lead negotiations, build supplier relationships, analyze market trends, and drive cost savings. Collaborate with stakeholders to meet evolving needs and enhance procurement performance. Be part of shaping sustainable procurement in the energy sector.

Key Responsibilities

1. Plan negotiations, define awarding strategy, and prepare sourcing approvals to enable supplier pooling.
2. Negotiate contracts at local, regional, or multi-site levels, including prices, delivery, and payment terms.
3. Contribute to commodity strategy and develop preferred supplier lists.
4. Manage supplier relationships in alignment with procurement management.
5. Maintain supplier segmentation and represent customer views in commodity discussions.
6. Analyze market trends to inform commodity strategies.
7. Identify customer requirements and support sourcing processes.
8. Monitor supplier performance and communicate findings to stakeholders.
9. Implement savings initiatives and monitor KPIs.
10. Drive early supplier involvement and cost reduction activities.
11. Identify procurement risks and opportunities, implementing appropriate measures.
12. Collaborate with strategic management on contractual items.
13. Implement commodity strategies and define local/regional material strategies for non-pooled commodities.

Candidate Requirements

• Experience in a complex, global organizational environment.
• 10+ years in strategic sourcing or commodity management.
• Excellent Excel skills.
• Strong communication, presentation, and customer management skills.
• Solid commercial, contractual, and project management knowledge.
• Understanding of manufacturing processes and quality standards.
• Experience working with a global supplier base in a matrix environment.
• Bachelor's or Master's degree preferred but not essential.
• Proven experience negotiating multimillion-pound contracts and developing commodity strategies.
