Position: Director @ CODA Technology Services | IT Recruitment | IT Project Delivery | IT Consulting

We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented IT Procurement Officer to support various IT procurement and license management activities within an international retail organization.

This is an initial 3-6 month contract, likely inside IR35. The role is hybrid (mainly remote with weekly office meetings) based near Kent/Sussex.

The role involves hands-on IT procurement support, administration, vendor coordination, contract management, and process improvement. The Procurement Officer should operate at both tactical and strategic levels to optimize IT procurement for global initiatives.

Responsibilities:

• License management
• Manage ServiceNow platform processes for contracts and vendor management
• Support daily procurement tasks: raising purchase orders, tracking approvals, maintaining contract records
• Coordinate with Managed Service Providers and large IT vendors/outsourcers
• Participate in contract reviews and negotiations alongside senior team members
• Manage purchase orders and contracts
• Assist with invoicing processes with finance
• Support budget forecast meetings
• Build relationships with key IT stakeholders and align purchasing strategies

Skills & Experience:

• At least 3 years’ experience supporting IT procurement, with a good understanding of IT processes and vendors
• Experience with ServiceNow, especially vendor/contract management modules
• Experience with procurement systems, purchase order management, and vendor coordination
• Comfort working with IT contracts and supporting contract management
• Ability to perform operational tasks and contribute to strategic procurement initiatives
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
• Excellent administrative skills with attention to detail
• Experience working within a global organization (desirable)
