Job summary

Sofina Foods Europe IT procurement role based in Leeds: lead end-to-end procurement of technology products and services, collaborating with Head of IT and stakeholders to ensure well-governed contracts, supplier coordination and value-driven purchases across hardware, software, infrastructure and IT services.

Day-to-day procurement administration, contract records and supplier documentation, plus exposure to strategic sourcing, supplier negotiations and technology investments across IT domains.

• Confidence communicating with suppliers and internal stakeholders.

• Experience in technology procurement is advantageous but not essential.

The Role

Our new IT Procurement Manager will play a key role in supporting the efficient procurement of technology products and services across Sofina Foods Europe. Working closely with the Head of IT and key business stakeholders, you'll help ensure technology purchases are well managed, suppliers are effectively coordinated and contracts are maintained, whilst also supporting commercial negotiations and sourcing activities.

This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced procurement professional, alongside managing day-to-day procurement administration, contract records and supplier documentation, you'll also gain exposure to strategic sourcing projects, supplier negotiations and technology investments across hardware, software, infrastructure and IT services.

Based in Leeds, the role will involve occasional travel to sites across the UK, Ireland and Mainland Europe.

Your Key Responsibilities

The IT Procurement Manager will support both the operational and commercial aspects of technology procurement, including:

• Managing purchase requests and coordinating the end-to-end procurement process for IT goods and services.
• Maintaining supplier contracts, licensing records and procurement documentation, ensuring accurate records and compliance.
• Supporting supplier onboarding, contract renewals and purchase order administration.
• Assisting with sourcing activities across software, hardware, infrastructure, telecoms and IT services.
• Supporting commercial negotiations and helping secure best value from technology suppliers.
• Producing spend reports, supplier data and procurement analysis to identify savings opportunities.
• Building positive relationships with internal stakeholders and external suppliers to ensure smooth procurement delivery.
• Supporting procurement governance, contract compliance and continuous improvement of procurement processes.

The Ideal Candidate

You will be a procurement professional, ideally with previous IT procurement experience, combining strong organisational skills with commercial awareness.

You Will Have

• Procurement or purchasing experience within a commercial environment.

• Experience managing supplier information, contracts or procurement documentation.
• Confidence communicating with suppliers and internal stakeholders.
• Good commercial awareness and an interest in supplier negotiation and cost optimisation.

• The ability to manage multiple priorities and work in a fast-paced environment.
• Experience within technology procurement would be advantageous but is not essential.
