Job summary

IGD is seeking an IT Operations Technician to support day-to-day IT services, troubleshoot issues, and contribute to project work. You will join a team that values growth, collaboration and delivering reliable technology to colleagues.

This hybrid role combines BAU tasks with participation in IGD Technology projects. Based near London, you’ll help optimise experiences for staff while enjoying a balanced work life.

Qualifications

• 1-3 years IT experience expected
• Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
• Strong written and verbal communication with internal stakeholders

Responsibilities

• Assist with BAU tasks including joiner/mover/leaver, incident tickets in ITSM, security tasks and user requests
• Participate in IGD industry events
• Contribute technical knowledge to enhance IGD Technology Team
• Support delivery of IGD Technology projects and initiatives

We’re looking for an IT Operations Technician who will assist the team with day-to-day business as usual activities, troubleshooting, problem resolution and project work.

What you’ll do

• Assist with business-as-usual tasks and activities such as the joiner, mover and leaver process, incident tickets within our ITSM platform , security-related tasks, and other user requests.
• Take part and help at IGD industry events.
• Add your own technical knowledge to enhance and improve the IGD Technology Team.
• Take part in delivering IGD Technology projects and initiatives.

What we’re looking for

• A passion for IT and things “tech”.
• 1-3 years experience in an IT role.
• Preferably some experience of working with internal stakeholders.
• An eye for detail, good troubleshooting and out of the box thinking skills paired with good written and verbal communication skills.
