Qualifications

• Experience leading and developing IT support or operations teams.
• Solid understanding of cyber security, IAM, patching and incident response.
• Knowledge of data protection and operational compliance requirements.
• Excellent organisational and stakeholder management skills.
• Proactive, solutions-focused approach with the ability to prioritise a varied workload.
• Strong communication skills with both technical and non-technical colleagues.

Responsibilities

• Lead day-to-day management of IT operations, infrastructure and support services.
• Manage external IT support and cyber security partners, ensuring SLAs are met.
• Develop and lead the internal IT operations team, fostering a customer-focused culture.
• Oversee hardware, software and network performance and availability.
• Build strong relationships with stakeholders to ensure IT services meet needs.
• Manage supplier relationships, budgets and service agreements.
• Support delivery of IT projects and operational improvements.
• Oversee onboarding, asset lifecycle management and access control.
• Ensure cyber security controls, monitoring and incident response are effective.
• Support data protection activities and governance compliance.
• Identify opportunities for continuous improvement across IT operations.
