Job summary

JCW Group in Liverpool seeks a Plant IT Engineer (Manufacturing Systems) for a 14-month contract, on-site five days a week. Occasional travel to European sites is expected.

You will support deployment of a new MES system on a regulated industrial site, participate in building and supporting applications and integrations, and provide daily IT/OT platform support in coordination with the global technical team.

Qualifications

• Experience in IT/technical support, with a good general understanding of OT, IT, infrastructure, software, data and cloud environments.
• Strong customer service orientation and quick learning ability.
• Willingness to be on-site Monday to Friday and travel 10–25% within Europe.

Responsibilities

We are looking for an IT/OT Support Technician to support the deployment of a new MES system on a regulated industrial site in the Liverpool area. You will participate in the construction and support of applications and integrations, provide daily support for the platform (development, security, operations), and be the local contact for the needs of the site with the global technical team.

Profile sought:

• Experience in IT/technical support, with a good general understanding of OT, IT, infrastructure, software, data, and cloud environments
• Sense of customer service and strong learning ability
• Full-time on-site presence, Monday to Friday
• Availability for one-off travel to other locations in Europe (10-25%)

Appreciated assets:

• Experience in a regulated industrial environment (pharmaceutical ideally)
• Integration experience with SAP, AVEVA PI, or Databricks
