Overview of the Role

To oversee our IT operations and client-facing solution delivery, we are looking for an experienced IT manager with a solid foundation in cyber security. This position integrates technical solution design, customer engagement, and strategic leadership. In addition to overseeing our internal IT estate, the chosen applicant will design and implement safe infrastructure solutions for outside customers while making sure that contemporary cyber security best practices and standards are followed.

Principal Duties

• Oversee the strategy, operations, and provision of IT services in both internal and external contexts.
• Create and implement IT solutions with a cyber security focus, such as SIEM/SOC integration, endpoint protection, and safe cloud migrations.
• Directly collaborate with outside clients to evaluate needs, provide fixes, and guarantee the safe completion of IT projects.
• Manage cloud, server, and network security, including hybrid environments, Microsoft Azure, and O365.
• Assure adherence to the UK cyber security frameworks, GDPR, NIST, and ISO 27001.
• Create and carry out plans for business continuity, catastrophe recovery, and incident response.
• Oversee vendor contracts, IT budgets, licensing, and technical personnel.
• Provide technical documentation and solution design to support pre-sales activity.
• Provide advice on mitigation techniques and serve as the point of escalation for cyber security events.
• Assist IT engineers with leadership, coaching, and skill development.
