Responsibilities

• Act as the main point of contact for IT and telecoms issues.
• Monitor helpdesk performance and implement improvements.
• Oversee the external IT support provider.
• Support the IT team in delivering high-quality service.
• Manage the annual Cyber Essentials Plus renewal.
• Assist the IT Director with strategic IT projects.
• Coordinate resources for key IT projects.
• Build stakeholder relationships to develop solutions.
• Monitor IT infrastructure performance.
• Recruit for departmental vacancies.
• Carry out additional tasks as required.

Skills

Proficient in Microsoft Office packages

Strong understanding of Windows Server Infrastructure

Knowledge of MPLS networks

Experience with Extreme Switching and Access Points

Excellent interpersonal and communication skills

Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities

Flexible and able to adapt plans at short notice

Confident in liaising with external suppliers

Full UK Driving Licence
