Job summary

TXP is recruiting an IT Manager to lead the internal technology function. You will work with a Senior Technical Engineer to own the overall service, security, governance and direction of TXP's internal IT across multiple sites in the UK.

You will manage a small internal IT team, ensuring reliability, security and cost efficiency of the Azure and Microsoft 365 estate for ~200 laptops and 400 user accounts in a hybrid BYOD environment across four offices.

Qualifications

• Experience leading an internal IT function within professional services or technology consultancy is preferred.
• Strong knowledge of Microsoft Azure and Microsoft 365 to direct decisions without hands-on delivery.
• Experience leading a small technical team with credibility to guide technically capable staff.

Responsibilities

• Own the day-to-day running of TXP's internal IT function, providing clear direction and accountability for service levels.
• Lead, coach and develop the internal IT team, including the Senior Technical Engineer.
• Set clear objectives and provide regular feedback, balancing individual development with business needs.
• Build a culture of ownership, curiosity and continuous improvement within the internal IT team.
• Maintain service levels for incident response, request fulfilment and problem management, with performance tracking against targets.
