Robert Half Technology is assisting a prestigious, market-leading financial services organization in recruiting an IT Manager on a contract basis in London, starting ASAP.

Role

1. Oversee IT Operations: Ensure smooth and efficient IT activities within the Luxembourg office, aligning with global standards and policies.
2. Joiners and Leavers Coordination: Manage onboarding and offboarding processes, hardware provisioning, and profile setup.
3. Device Management: Oversee lifecycle management of IT devices, including procurement, deployment, maintenance, and retirement.
4. Training Sessions: Develop and deliver training on cybersecurity, software, and best practices.
5. Helpdesk Management: Supervise a team of up to two IT professionals handling support tickets.
6. Disaster Recovery: Manage and maintain the IT Disaster Recovery Plan for the Luxembourg office.
7. Direct Support Supervision: Manage the local IT team, conduct weekly meetings, and provide guidance and performance feedback.

Profile

1. Proven experience managing IT departments, preferably in a corporate setting.
2. Strong understanding of local IT policies and global standards.
3. Excellent organizational and coordination skills, especially in onboarding/offboarding.
4. Strong knowledge of Microsoft 365 and device management.
5. Ability to conduct staff training and improve IT user compliance.
6. Experience investigating data breaches and managing disaster recovery plans.
7. Experience in a financial regulated environment is a plus but not mandatory.
8. Strong budget management and policy implementation skills.
9. Ability to manage external suppliers and ensure quality of IT services.
10. Leadership skills to develop and manage a small IT team.
