Job summary

Aspire Recruitment is seeking an IT Manager to lead and evolve our in-house IT function across multiple sites. You will manage IT infrastructure, security, and user support while shaping strategy and timelines.

You'll work with external providers during the transition to internal delivery, drive cyber security initiatives, and build scalable, compliant systems with a proactive, collaborative approach across Leeds, London, and regional sites.

Qualifications

• Experience as IT Manager, IT Lead or Senior IT Support.
• Strong knowledge of Microsoft 365, Windows environments and network infrastructure.
• Excellent cyber security knowledge and experience.
• Experience supporting a multi-site business.
• Proactive approach to problem-solving and continuous improvement.
• Ability to communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical colleagues.
• Confidence communicating with stakeholders at all levels.
• Experience managing third-party IT providers.
• Genuine interest in developing and improving IT functions long term.
• Mac experience desirable.
• Experience transitioning IT services from outsourced to internal delivery desirable.

Responsibilities

• Manage and improve IT systems, infrastructure and technology processes.
• Drive cyber security initiatives and ensure best practice across the organisation.
• Work alongside external IT providers while supporting the long-term plan to bring services in-house.
• Lead and deliver IT projects that improve efficiency, performance and user experience.
• Manage hardware, software, licences and IT assets.
• Assess and recommend new technologies to support business growth.
• Develop and maintain IT policies, procedures and documentation.
• Build relationships with employees and stakeholders across the business.
• Provide regular updates and recommendations to senior leadership.

• Previous experience in an IT Manager, IT Lead or Senior IT Support position.
• Strong knowledge of Microsoft 365, Windows environments and network infrastructure.
