Job summary
Watches of Switzerland Group PLC is seeking an IT Infrastructure Specialist to join our IT Infrastructure Server Admin Team. The role focuses on day-to-day support and project work covering servers, storage, Active Directory and backups, with emphasis on ownership and problem resolution in a fast-paced environment.
You will collaborate with colleagues to deliver high standards, transition between BAU and project work, and contribute to a secure, scalable IT estate that supports our luxury retail
Qualifications
- Extensive experience with VMware configuration and management.
- Troubleshooting and upgrading Windows Server from 2012 to 2022.
- Experience with VMware and Azure network connectivity.
- Experience with VSAN storage.
- Backup and DR solutions using Veeam, Azure Backup and Zerto.
- Azure/Entra management and Azure servers, applications and security basics.
- Strong Active Directory skills.
- DFS and DNS administration in enterprise environments.
Responsibilities
- Provide day-to-day support for servers, storage, AD and backups.
- Engage in project work to improve IT infrastructure.
- Own problems from identification through resolution.
- Collaborate with the infrastructure team in a busy server environment.
- Handle BAU tasks and project work as needed.
