Job summary

Perk, formerly TravelPerk, is seeking an Infrastructure Engineer to support IT operations across European hubs. You will serve as an escalation point for the Service Desk and mentor colleagues while improving reliability and uptime.

The role emphasizes scripting and automation with Okta, Slack and Make.com, REST API work, and monitoring with Nagios/Zabbix; commuting distance to our London or Barcelona hub is required.

Qualifications

• Experience supporting IT operations across multiple hubs or locations.
• Escalation support for Service Desk teams and mentoring colleagues.
• Troubleshooting IT and audio-visual environments.
• Contributing to infrastructure projects with timelines and standards.
• Scripting and automation with Okta, Slack and Make.com.
• REST API integration and automation of repetitive tasks.
• Monitoring and alerting with Nagios and Zabbix.
• DevOps tools such as GitHub and Terraform.
• Identity management systems and Jamf environments; Jamf 200+ is a plus.
• Role based within commuting distance of London or Barcelona hub.
• Resume in English.

Responsibilities

• Serve as escalation point for Service Desk, guiding on complex issues and mentoring colleagues.
• Troubleshoot and resolve IT and audio-visual issues across European hubs.
• Plan, execute, and monitor IT infrastructure projects.
• Develop and maintain scripts and automation workflows across Okta, Slack, Make.com.
• Integrate REST APIs to enhance tooling and automate repetitive tasks.
• Configure, optimize, and maintain Nagios and Zabbix monitoring.
• Apply basic DevOps tooling knowledge with GitHub and Terraform.
• Maintain and support identity management systems and Jamf environments.
• Anticipate IT issues and mitigate risks.
• Analyze trends to support strategic objectives and improve efficiency.
• Evaluate new tools and contribute to shared systems and processes.
