Job summary

Warrington & Vale Royal College is seeking a skilled IT infrastructure professional to deliver third-line technical support across servers, networks, cloud services and Microsoft 365. The role involves contributing to infrastructure improvements and ensuring secure, reliable IT services on campus.

Candidates should have strong practical experience, a relevant certification path (ITIL, CompTIA, or Microsoft certifications are advantageous) and a proactive approach to learning.

Qualifications

Suitable candidates will have a minimum of 5 GCSEs at Grade C/4 or equivalent, including Maths and English, together with relevant practical experience in IT infrastructure support and administration. ITIL Foundation, Microsoft, CompTIA or other relevant technical certifications would be advantageous, along with evidence of ongoing professional development.
The College operates on 2 campuses - Warrington and Winsford.
The successful candidate will provide third-line technical expertise across a range of technologies, including servers, networks, cloud services, Microsoft 365, virtualisation and security platforms, while contributing to infrastructure improvement projects and the continuous development of IT services.
