Working hours: Monday to Friday, 37.5 hours a week

Yü Group Plc is a leading energy supplier in the United Kingdom, committed to providing reliable and sustainable energy solutions to our customers. We are seeking a highly skilled IT Infrastructure Engineer to develop and deliver IT services and infrastructure across the organization.

The IT Infrastructure Engineer will be responsible for managing and developing the IT infrastructure, supporting hardware, software, and key systems, troubleshooting issues, and deploying new systems and services.

• Drive the development of new technologies to improve business performance and service delivery.
• Support and maintain company IT hardware and software licensing.
• Lead the IT team on infrastructure maintenance and development, including hardware, networks, and software.
• Ensure key systems meet business KPIs and improve reporting processes.
• Develop long-term IT strategies, focusing on cloud-based systems and emerging trends.
• Monitor threats and vulnerabilities, implementing mitigation solutions.
• Support and develop IT policies and processes, including ISO27001 and Cyber Essentials.
• Maintain and develop IT system security.
• Enhance the use of Microsoft 365 and other cloud technologies.
• Manage IT devices, systems, and both on-premises and cloud-based server environments.
• Coordinate with network providers for fault resolution and improvements.

Qualifications and Skills

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Security, or related field.
• Understanding of cybersecurity principles and best practices.
• Strong knowledge of networking, operating systems, and cloud computing.

• Manage multiple workstreams and meet deadlines.
• Flexible working pattern to support key systems.
• Technical experience with:

• M365 administration including Entra AD, Intune, Autopilot, SharePoint.
• On-premises server management, including Server 2022, Hyper-V, storage, IoT devices.
• Backup services management.
• Domain management, web servers, including certification.
• Cloud services management.
• Security, compliance, and emerging technologies.
• SQL and replication.
• Anti-virus/anti-malware solutions.
