IT Infrastructure Consultant

A superb opportunity for an experienced IT Infrastructure Consultant to join a dynamic and forward-thinking consultancy that offers hybrid working with an office in London. You will be required to go to client sites and team meetings in London as and when needed. Offering a salary of £80,000 and a fantastic benefits package, this hybrid role will see you play a pivotal part in designing and delivering passive infrastructure solutions for high-profile commercial developments. You’ll collaborate closely with architectural and engineering teams to deliver robust, future-ready IT infrastructure across a range of projects.

Duties & Responsibilities

• Lead the design and coordination of IT infrastructure including comms rooms, risers, and cabling frameworks
• Work closely with project stakeholders to translate client requirements into fully integrated technical designs
• Oversee spatial planning for IT infrastructure in line with fire safety, structural and security considerations
• Contribute to technical documentation, specifications and structured cabling standards
• Attend site meetings and inspections to ensure adherence to design and quality benchmarks

What Experience is Required

• Proven experience in passive infrastructure design within construction or consultancy environments
• Strong understanding of the RIBA design and construction lifecycle
• Ability to communicate technical concepts to multidisciplinary teams and non-technical stakeholders
