Legal Counsel, AWS Infrastructure Legal (Construction and Engineering), London

Amazon's Legal Department is seeking a talented Corporate Counsel attorney based in London to support Amazon Web Services (AWS), a rapidly growing business within Amazon.com. AWS specializes in cloud computing and provides IT infrastructure services including compute capacity, storage, content delivery, databases, AI, machine learning, and more.

The attorney will support the AWS Infrastructure teams responsible for designing and constructing AWS data centers and related infrastructure across EMEA. Responsibilities include drafting and negotiating construction and consultant contracts, developing compliance and training programs, and streamlining contracting workflows. The role involves collaborating with business and partner teams for day-to-day legal advice, managing vendor issues, and handling pre-litigation disputes. Interaction with Procurement, Public Policy, PR, Finance, Compliance, and Tax teams, as well as managing outside counsel, are also part of the role.

Basic Qualifications
