Job summary

Amphenol Ltd in Whitstable is seeking an IT Infrastructure Support Specialist to maintain and secure the company’s IT environment. You will monitor systems, patch and remediate vulnerabilities, and assist with audits and security awareness.

You will work with Hyper‑V, O365 and related technologies, log incidents in a ticketing system, and collaborate with the MIS team to meet SLAs and protect critical data.

Qualifications

• 3 years minimum experience in an IT role.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and monitor IT infrastructure across LAN/WAN, switches, Hyper‑V, SAN, UPS, user devices and related systems.
• Troubleshoot incidents and vulnerabilities; escalate as needed.
• Assist with audit evidence, Cyber Essentials Plus, ISO27001, GDPR requirements and security documentation.
• Patch management, firmware updates and remediation tasks.
• Monitor stock levels and assist with procurement processes.
• Support security awareness activities and training tracking.
• Work with MIS team on incident/problem resolution within SLAs.
