Shiplake College, near Henley-on-Thames, is looking for an approachable IT Helpdesk Technician to support staff and pupils across the College. As the first point of contact for IT queries, you will deliver friendly, effective support and help maintain reliable technology services.

We welcome applicants from experienced IT technicians as well as those starting their IT careers, with possible apprenticeship training.

Job description

Shiplake College is looking for an approachable and proactive IT Helpdesk Technician to support staff and pupils across the College. As the first point of contact for IT queries, you will play a key role in delivering excellent customer service, resolving technical issues, and helping to maintain reliable and effective technology services.

We welcome applications from experienced IT technicians as well as those at the beginning of their IT careers who can demonstrate a strong customer service ethos. Apprenticeship training may be available for suitable candidates, providing an excellent opportunity to develop technical knowledge, skills and confidence.

Shiplake College is an independent boarding and day school for around 620 pupils aged 11 to 18. There has been a co-educational Sixth Form since 1998 and since September 2023 girls have been welcomed into Year 7 as the College became fully co-educational.
