IT Governance Analyst London 3 month contract Excellent day rate

We are seeking an analytical mind, with an eye for detail, procedures and technical acumen, to help the business implement and run a new IT risk management framework. This is a multi-faceted role supporting both a Technology Transformation Programme as well as maintaining oversight over current operational technology and applications.

Responsibilities:

1. Risk identification: Assist the implementation of risk identification control strategies; work with multiple teams to create learning material, templates, and facilitate workshops; support horizon scanning exercises; manage changes to risk taxonomy.
2. Risk and event analysis: Review, triage, analyze technology issues and risk events; support change reviews, Risk Control Self-Assessment exercises, and vendor risk assessments.
3. Risk controls and management: Develop the technology governance framework, support policies and procedures, manage the controls library, and improve GRC platform operations.
4. Risk governance and compliance: Manage service interface, record governance decisions, and support audits and certifications.
5. Reporting & documentation: Prepare reports on technology risk and governance performance; maintain documentation; develop risk visualizations.
6. Management & development: Promote learning, research new technologies, and support team development.

Qualifications and Skills:

• Experience in enterprise technology services, support, or administration including ITIL and asset management.
• Understanding of various enterprise IT environments, including cloud and cybersecurity systems.
• Experience with IT controls, governance, risk, and compliance frameworks.
• Proficiency in data analysis and reporting tools like PowerBI or Tableau.
• Ability to automate tasks using PowerAutomate, Python, or similar tools.
