Job summary

Office Angels is seeking an IT Finance & Projects Analyst to join our technology function in Surrey on a hybrid basis. An ideal candidate will manage financial administration, procurement processes and supplier governance while supporting project activities across busy teams.

You will track budgets, perform cost analysis and help drive process improvements that support critical business projects. Strong Excel skills and stakeholder communication are essential.

Qualifications

• Experience in finance analysis for procurement, budgets and project governance.
• Strong Excel and data analysis skills with attention to detail.
• Experience supporting supplier management and contract administration is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Manage purchase orders, invoicing processes and supplier administration.
• Ensure accurate allocation of costs, budgets and financial coding.
• Support monthly budget reviews, forecasting and financial reporting.
• Prepare accruals and year-end financial data.
• Review invoices, POs and financial documentation.
• Produce cost analysis and reporting for projects.
• Maintain governance documents and reporting tools.
• Support supplier relationship management and contract administration.
• Assist with project governance and portfolio reporting.

A fantastic opportunity has arisen for an experienced IT Finance & Projects Analyst to join a well-established and highly respected organisation. Working within a busy technology function, you will play a key role in managing financial administration, procurement processes, supplier governance and project support activities.

This position offers a varied workload and would suit an organised, commercially minded individual who enjoys working with financial data, improving processes and supporting critical business projects.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage purchase orders, invoicing processes and supplier administration activities.
• Ensure accurate allocation of costs, budgets and financial coding.
• Support monthly budget reviews, forecasting and financial reporting activities.
• Prepare accruals, fixed asset information and year-end financial data.
• Review and approve invoices, purchase orders and financial documentation.
• Produce service cost analysis, recharge reporting and financial performance information.
• Maintain governance documentation, project records, templates and reporting tools.
• Support supplier relationship management and contract administration activities.
• Assist with project governance, portfolio administration and project reporting.
• Work closely with stakeholders across technology, finance and external supplier teams.
• Support audits and ensure compliance with internal policies and financial controls.
• Identify opportunities to improve processes, controls and operational efficiency.

Requirements

• Previous experience within a Finance Analyst, Project Analyst, Procurement Analyst or similar role.
• Strong understanding of budgeting, financial management, accruals, Opex and Capex.
• Experience managing purchase orders, invoices and supplier-related administration.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Advanced Microsoft Excel skills.
• Strong organisational skills with excellent attention to detail.
• Experience supporting projects, governance frameworks or business change initiatives.
• Confident communicator with the ability to work effectively with stakeholders at all levels.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
• Knowledge of supplier management, contract administration or software licensing would be advantageous.
• Exposure to technology, IT or business transformation environments would be beneficial.
