About the role
We have an exciting opportunity available for an experienced IT Field Technician to join our Bromsgrove office, supporting Colleagues with both desktop and remote support.
Occasional travel will be required outside of the Midlands and Northern Regions to cover for other Field Technicians and to join in person Team Meetings at Ringwood Head Office.
You will plan, prepare and install IT equipment at Site Cabins, Sales Offices and Lodge Managers offices. Provide 1st and 2nd line support to all colleagues who have raised IT faults or service requests either via the ticketing system or the telephone as well as supporting project work as required.
This role is based at our Bromsgrove Office with some travel. The working hours are Monday to Thursday 9:00am – 5:30pm, Friday 9:00am – 5:00pm. The IT Field Technician is expected to be flexible in keeping with the responsibilities of the position which may include working additional hours when necessary.
About you
We would love to hear from you if you have previous IT Technician experience with a good working knowledge across a range of end user devices including desktops, laptops, printers, phones, routers, mobiles and tablets, and a knowledge of Microsoft products. Previous experience of a ticketing system is desirable.
This is a busy role so you will work well in busy environments and will be able to effectively prioritise your workload. You will also have experience of supporting a distributed user base.
You will need to have excellent interpersonal and communication skills, have effective analytical and problem solving skills and have a high level of attention to detail. You will also be highly organised, be capable of managing your own workload and capable of working alone or as part of a team.
