OMass Therapeutics is a biotechnology company based in Oxford, discovering medicines against highly-validated target ecosystems, such as membrane proteins or intracellular complexes. The company’s unique OdyssION technology platform comprises novel biochemistry techniques, next-generation native mass spectrometry, and custom chemistry. OMass is advancing a pipeline of small molecule therapeutics in rare diseases and immunological conditions, targeting solute carriers, complex-bound proteins, and GPCRs.
We are seeking an IT Director for a 6 Month FTC project role, with potential to extend depending on project outcomes. You will be part of a dynamic and innovative environment and will become an integral part of our vision to address patients’ unmet needs while building Britain’s Biggest Biotech.
You will use your expertise to lead a review of our IT and data practices and propose a 3-year IT strategy and road map, as the company and portfolio continue to mature and our lead asset enters first-in-human clinical trial in mid-2025. This role will report to the COO and work in close partnership with the Computational team.

- To enhance efficiency and interoperability across departments and enable automation and innovation (FAIR data principles)
- Future state IT infrastructure and governance – to enable the organization’s objectives and growth trajectory
- Compliance with regulatory requirements (e.g., GxP, GDPR) where applicable
- Roadmap to enhance compliance and security provisions to meet future certification requirements, e.g., ISO27001 and/or Sarbanes-Oxley
