Job summary

Digital Catapult is seeking a strategic IT Delivery Manager to drive the evolution of internal systems. You will link the IT Team with business stakeholders, owning delivery planning, roadmaps and governance to keep systems scalable and reliable.

In a fast-moving environment, you will translate business needs into actionable outcomes, coordinate with internal teams and external partners, and ensure end-to-end delivery of IT projects, including SaaS tools, infrastructure and security operations.

Qualifications

• Experience delivering IT projects end-to-end.
• Experience working in a technology-focused environment or with tech teams.
• Strong stakeholder management and communication skills.
• Familiarity with Jira/Confluence and other Atlassian tools.

Responsibilities

• Manage end-to-end delivery of IT systems and products, aligning scope, timeline, and budget.
• Coordinate requirements with internal IT team and external stakeholders.
• Own delivery artefacts and roadmaps, prioritisation, backlogs and schedules.
• Procure and renew IT systems and SaaS tools; manage supplier renewals.
• Facilitate backlog refinement and ensure deliverables meet business objectives.
• Monitor risks and implement mitigation as part of governance.

Ready to shape the future of IT at the heart of the business? We’re looking for a sharp, strategic IT Delivery Manager to spearhead the evolution of our internal systems. You'll be the key link between the IT Team and business stakeholders, driving deployments, upgrades, and continuous improvement across infrastructure, SaaS platforms, devices, and security operations. Reporting to the Head of IT, you’ll lead delivery planning, steer cross-functional collaboration, and own the roadmap that keeps our systems operational and scalable. WHAT YOU’LL DO (Duties)

• Manage end-to-end delivery of IT systems and products, ensuring alignment with scope, timeline, and budget.
• Coordinate functional and non-functional requirements with our internal IT Team and external departmental stakeholders.
• Own and maintain delivery artefacts and events such as prioritisation, delivery roadmaps, backlogs and schedules.
• Own the procurement of new and renewals of existing systems/SaaS tool inventory and supplier renewal schedule.
• Facilitate backlog refinement and ensure deliverables meet functional expectations and business objectives.
• Monitor risks and implement mitigation strategies as part of project governance.

• Experience working within the technology industry or alongside tech teams.
• Experience using Jira, Confluence and other Atlassian tools.
• Proven track record in managing external vendors and suppliers and holding them to SLA’s.
• Solid background in planning and executing change initiatives.
• Strong stakeholder management and communication skills with a customer and solution-focused mindset.
• Previous experience of leading the end-to-end delivery of IT projects.
• Demonstrated excellence in service delivery and operational performance.
• Scrum / Agile management certification desirable but not essential.
• Previous experience within requirements, definition and management skills along with strong technical adaptability and problem-solving skills with the ability to understand new technologies.
