Job Description

Purpose of the Job

Data is central to Ocorian's operations, especially in capturing, processing, storing, and managing client data. The IT & Data Transformation Business Analyst will lead projects to improve data completeness and accuracy, manage change to ensure adoption of new processes, and support projects related to data management, File Review, and Operations. These initiatives will underpin Ocorian’s AI and Intelligent Automation strategies.

Main Responsibilities

  • Identify and validate minimum mandatory data fields for all systems used in Funds Services, ensuring compliance with global standards and jurisdictional requirements.
  • Understand and document AML / CFT regulatory requirements across jurisdictions.
  • Lead review and redesign of current file review processes and data standards to align with global standards.
  • Identify opportunities for process improvement using AI and automation to enhance efficiency and control.
  • Utilize machine learning to analyze patterns, identify business problems, and mitigate risks.
  • Manage the transition and transformation of Funds Services File Review processes across jurisdictions, including workflow development and automation tools.
  • Build a knowledge bank using AI to capture and share global regulatory requirements.
  • Represent Operations in interactions with senior stakeholders.
  • Develop data cleansing processes to ensure data quality before use.
  • Travel may be required.

Knowledge, Skills and Experience

  • Relevant postgraduate qualification, likely in accounting or compliance, or equivalent experience.
  • 1-3 years post-qualification experience in consulting or assurance services.
  • Experience in AML/KYC and/or fund administration.
  • Understanding of regulated environments, especially fund administration.
  • Knowledge of AI and automation is desirable.
  • Experience with investment management software (e.g., eFront) is a plus.
  • Ability to work in projects and with senior management.
  • Strong project, time, and organizational skills.
  • Analytical, methodical problem-solving approach.
  • Excellent research, reporting, and communication skills, with proficiency in English.

  • Proficiency in Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
