Job summary

Anglian Water is seeking an IT Commercial Delivery Lead to steer the Digital, Data and Technology (DDaT) Commercial team and maximise value from technology suppliers. You will blend hands-on leadership with IT commercial expertise to ensure contracting, assurance and reporting are delivered to a high standard.

You will lead a team of five, manage complex stakeholder needs and drive data-led improvements across commercial processes, with hybrid working across Huntingdon or Peterborough.

Qualifications

• Proven experience leading high-performing teams in an IT commercial environment.
• Strong ability to manage workloads, priorities and competing demands.
• Experience delivering contracting and performance processes with governance.

Responsibilities

• Lead, develop and support a team of five Commercial Performance Managers and Analysts, setting clear priorities.
• Act as first point of escalation for team queries, delivery challenges and commercial issues.
• Provide guidance on contracting approaches, mini-competitions and framework self-service activity.
• Oversee financial and contractual performance reporting, assurance plans and governance controls.
• Support DDaT Framework Managers to deliver in-year performance and negotiate benefits.
• Strengthen capability through coaching, onboarding and training; improve processes and dashboards.
• Build effective relationships with senior stakeholders, framework suppliers and partners.
