Responsibilities

1. Utilise a range of tools and techniques for effective requirements gathering for new demands, projects, and small works.
2. Support and develop requirements traceability matrices.
3. Document requirements for Agile and Waterfall projects, following MoSCoW principles.
4. Map 'As-Is' and 'To-Be' business processes as needed for the IT Portfolio.
5. Perform gap analysis, investigate needs/problems, and contribute to recommendations for improvements.
6. Undertake impact analysis and identify potential consequences of changes, including actions for successful implementation.
7. Map activities and collaborate with systems analysts to ensure business needs are translated into solutions.
8. Ensure solutions are delivered according to recognised methodologies.
9. Prepare policy and process documentation to support the IT Portfolio Team.
10. Work effectively with stakeholders at all levels, translating technical language for non-technical audiences as needed.

Minimum Requirements

1. APMG Agile Business Analysis Foundation Practitioner or equivalent qualification.
2. Minimum of three years' experience as a business analyst.
3. Experience in developing project and portfolio plans from start-up to closure.
4. Experience facilitating planning workshops with diverse stakeholders.
5. Experience developing processes and policies for planning and scheduling.
6. Excellent communication skills and the ability to work effectively across all levels.
7. Ability to operate effectively in a fast-paced, evolving environment.
8. Willingness to travel between Manchester, Gloucester, London, Lyon, Paris, Turin, and new offices as they open.
